Chris Funk

Dr. Chris Funk graduated medical school and Family Medicine residency from the University of Manitoba and went on to complete his diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine as well as Emergency Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Funk is an accomplished Medical Officer with over 20 years of service and numerous deployments with elite units within the Canadian Armed Forces. He is currently actively practicing in the fields of emergency medicine, trauma medicine and sports medicine in Ottawa and Toronto, Ontario. Dr Funk has used ultrasonography for image guided injections since 2011 and has a special interest in autologous cellular therapies for the treatment of MSK related disorders.
